To speak about my work means for to speak about fascination, about fascination for being.

Fascination is giving me several ways to live with. It is making me sensitive and curious at the same time.

I know the way to stay on. This condition is a way of asking !

By any inspiration from a special tone of colour, seen may be in the nature, or in coffee powder or in my used towel. There appear desires to see !

The answers on my questions. I'm searching by any research.

For them I installed something like a 'personal communication with colour' ! It is a dialogue between two equal partners, me and the 'Farbmittel".

I, with a certain knowledge and experience what conditions colour materials used to, let come out a painting by it's own rules.

The colour itself puts in this dialogue all it's own parts of identity as light, weight, behavior with medium.

After having my first inspired moment with a certain colour, I have to work out the exactly tone out of the colour pigments mixture.

Still then, I don't have any defined idea about what kind of painting, surface will grow out of this !

To get familiar with my new partner, I need the most direct contact to the colour pigment.

I need to feel the weight, the substance of materials in my hands and with my hands.

This is, when I'm making my 'pigment works'.
Built up, like every other of my works
- on the ground, the pigment in egg-tempera, then the pigment in oil,
- the surface from the pigment.

Work is the pure pigment colour. variations are coming only from different local relations to the basing oil.

With every different medium the colour changes outside looking.
But it can not change its being.

I want to find exactly that, I want to make it visible.

Then my painter hands and artist's mind are speaking with possibilities of colour pigments.

To come closer the super, super special identity, every colour tone is original.

There are a lot of personal decisions by example:
- my feeling about how much reflections coming through an oily surface, is still possible, without giving a white reflection.
-without disturbing the mono-colored impression coming from the work

So the way a pigment is reacting in oil, itself is giving me instructions to bring the colour materials on the canvas.

This traces of my doing in dialog with the mentality of a certain pigment gives a result - That's the work !

All this different layers are growing out to the eternal layers and beyond. It is like an organic process and we both, the colour and I were using each other and also we have to take care each other.

My working process is oriented from the willing of the painting to be.
Then there is always this moment, and always surprising and so suddenly and so absolutely !
Sometimes I turned my back to the work, preparing was colour.
And when I come back to work on, It is no more touchable !

IT IS THERE.

The work has its personality, no way to touch it, without hunting.
Sometimes I need a little white to be happy with that appearance,
But it doesn't matter -
I accept that there is so clear work in front of me.

Next is that I get more and more interested in to understand this being.

So it influences me in the best way to start again with my reasons, from a new starting point !
