We are very glad to announce to have the second one-person show by Beate Mueller on the occasion of the publication,"Beate Mueller, Lichtbilder".

Born in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany in 1965, Beate Mueller now resides in Aachen. She studied graphic, first at FH Aachen from 1984 until 1989, and next at the Art Academy in Duesseldorf from 1989 until 1994 to be Meisterschuelerin by Prof. Franz Eggenschwiler. While she has been developing her career as a professional graphic designer based on Cologne and Aachen, she kept creating collage works and taking photographs.

For Beate Mueller, photography is like painting for painter, a medium to indicate her vision that she is searching in the real world. She is always prepared for the moment when her vision and reality shall appear, carefully looking around her everyday life. At certain time and at certain place, in the qualities of materials, in those constructions and compositions, in colors and light, and in those combinations, they appear and she definitely captures them without fail. Her works are snapshots of everyday surroundings but they remind us the beauty of this world.
